John I've been reflecting on last weekend’s No Kings Day.

We started the day at a tiny protest in Jamaica, then to a massive rally in Burlington, then to another big one in St. Albans.

It's incredible to see people who haven't done anything like this before. I talked to an older woman who leaned into me and said, “I've never ever been to a protest or rally, I'm so glad I did. It feels wonderful.” 

I've been thinking about that — it does feel wonderful to be taking things into our own hands and having our voices heard.
