Audience: Lead agencies (counties, tribal nations and managed care organizations)

Effective date: July 1, 2025

Summary: Effective July 1, 2025, lead agencies may substitute remote annual assessments conducted by interactive video or telephone for two consecutive in-person CFSS assessments followed by an in-person assessment in the third year.

Audience: People who receive personal care assistance (PCA), Consumer Support Grant (CSG) and CFSS services, families, providers, lead agencies and other interested parties

Summary: DHS began the transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS on Oct. 1, 2024. We will provide regular updates throughout the transition.

Audience: Lead agency supervisors who oversee services for people with developmental disabilities and related conditions

Deadline: June 30, 2025

Summary: Lead agencies must submit their LSNP to DHS by June 30, 2025.

Summary: The DWRS Cost Reporting Team will host a demonstration and Q&A session about DWRS cost reporting for residential service providers.

Audience: Lead agency staff, including MnCHOICES mentors, certified assessors, case managers and care coordinators

Summary: DHS will host a webinar about the MnCHOICES initial assessment review implementation. We will go over basic implementation information and answer pre-submitted questions.
