Hello – it’s Eileen Laubacher, the Democrat and retired U.S. Navy Admiral running against Lauren Boebert here in Colorado. I’m emailing to ask if you can make a donation to my campaign today to help me defeat Lauren Boebert and take back the House for Democrats.
Here’s why: When I retired from the Navy last October, I was looking forward to more time with my husband, our five kids, and our three grandchildren. But I guess service to country is in my blood.
My father served 37 years in the Navy, and my grandfather fought fascism as a frogman in WWII. Since preschool, I was determined to go to the Naval Academy to follow in their footsteps – well before women could even attend.
When I look now at how Donald Trump and Lauren Boebert are trying to tear up our Constitution, I shudder at what my grandfather would think. Many of the same dangerous forces that he and his shipmates risked their lives to defeat are taking root here at home.
I am running to defeat Lauren Boebert because I took an oath in the Navy to defend our Constitution against all threats, foreign and domestic – even when those threats are sitting members of Congress.
My campaign has set a goal to raise another $10,000 to defeat Lauren Boebert and take back the House for Democrats, but right now, we’re still very short. If I am going to send Lauren Boebert packing and flip this seat blue, I need grassroots donors like you to chip in right now to my campaign:
