Hey folks, it’s Andy Beshear – Governor of Kentucky and Vice Chair of the DGA – with a short, but important message.

Leadership isn’t about cruelty and going after your enemies – it’s about lifting people up. Unfortunately, the Trump administration is more focused on causing chaos and imposing their extreme agenda than doing what’s best for working families.

They’re enacting radical tariffs that are wrecking our economy and raising prices. They’re destroying critical infrastructure like the National Weather Service, which gives important notice before major weather events. And they’re threatening to cut Medicaid, which would decimate rural healthcare.

In the face of these threats, Democratic governors are standing strong. We’re fighting for progress and acting as the last line of defense for our shared values, and above all, working to create a better future for each and every American.

But with 38 governors’ races rapidly approaching this November and in 2026, Republicans are plotting to attack our blue firewall of governors and enact Trump’s cruel agenda in the states.

I’m ready to put my heart into electing more Dem govs, but it’s never been more clear that this fight is going to take all of us.
