Our elections are supposed to be one person, one vote. But when billionaire-backed super PACs can spend unlimited sums to flood our primaries with ads and disinformation, our voices get drowned out by their money.

In just the last three election cycles, one crypto-backed super PAC called Fairshake PAC has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to sway our elections and is now the second largest super PAC in politics, ahead of any Democratic super PAC.

Half of Fairshake PAC’s money comes from crypto corporations, and the other half comes directly from its billionaire owners. And while crypto bros supported Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, that didn’t stop crypto-backed super PACs from meddling in Democratic primaries. Their warchest helped defeat progressive Democrats including Katie Porter (D-CA), Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), and Cori Bush (D-MO).

This isn’t democracy. This is straight up oligarchy.
