TODAY IS ELECTION DAY. You have now until 7 PM to vote. This is YOUR chance to vote for the 2025 Democratic General Election Ticket and join our nominee for Governor, Abigail Spanberger! Need more information on voting? Please visit https://vote.arlingtonva.gov/Elections for more info! As always, as long as you are in line by 7 PM, you can still vote!

Also, we wanted to thank everyone who went to a No Kings! Day event, whether here in Arlington or throughout the country. Estimates are showing 5 million Americans turned out! The work has just begun! Soon, we will be highlighting opportunities on how you can get involved in the General Election in November! We have the chance to show the country and the world that Trump’s fascist agenda has no place here. Part of what we are doing will take place next week. Join us on Thursday, June 26th, for a fundraiser for Lily Franklin.
Lastly, as you may have seen in the news, the Democratic National Committee recently voted to nullify the election of the 2nd and 3rd Vice-Chair roles. AYD President Bryant Atkins has written a note to provide more context on what occurred. You can find it here.

🍎 AYD Community Food Drive
The Arlington Young Democrats are stepping up to fight food insecurity, and we need your help. Now through the end of June, we’re collecting donations for the Little Free Food Pantry (LFFP) at St. John's Church in Arlington. This 24/7 pantry offers free food and essential items to our neighbors in need—and with demand rising, the shelves need restocking.
📦 What to Donate:
Non-perishable, unexpired food (no glass jars)
Canned goods, boxed meals, shelf-stable milk
Snacks, plastic utensils, and basic toiletries
🗓 How to Donate:
Bring items to any AYD event this quarter
Drop off anytime in the donation bin on the 5th Street porch of St. John's Church
Let’s come together to keep the pantry full and the community strong. 💙

AYD for Lily Franklin Fundraiser
Join AYD for a fundraiser supporting Lily Franklin for HD-41.
As the most competitive battleground race in Virginia, this seat is a must-win for Democrats to expand their control in the Virginia House of Delegates and will have major implications for access to abortion throughout the Commonwealth.
