President Donald Trump made it clear over the weekend that while peace is possible, the road to it may be paved with firepower. Speaking before boarding Air Force One to attend the G7 Summit in Alberta, Trump commented on the escalating clash between Israel and Iran.

Tensions boiled over during a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) press conference on Thursday, when Senator Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) was forcibly removed from the room after a heated confrontation with DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. The event, intended to address the recent unrest in Los Angeles following ICE enforcement operations, quickly devolved into political theater.
