Friend,
On Juneteenth we remember our history, how far we’ve come, and how much we have left to achieve.
As our ancestors have shown us, when Black people vote, we change the course of history. Through their sacrifices, tenacity, and collective organizing, they gave us power through the vote. And in this make-or-break moment for our country and our Black future, we've got to vote to live.
This Juneteenth, we want you, friend, to join us as we launch Vote to Live – our campaign to turn out at least 250,000 Black voters in the 2020 election.
Vote to Live is a call to action and a demand for change. Please join The Collective as we launch Vote to Live to register thousands of Black voters. We need you now >>
We are living in a time when people are protesting for change that directly impacts the Black community, but listen – protesting is only a start. The ultimate protest comes at the ballot box.
Growing up in South Carolina and getting trained on civil rights through my time as a youth leader in the NAACP, I know first-hand the power of the Black vote to impart change in our communities – but it will take all of us working together to bring about the changes we seek and demand.
Registering a quarter of a million voters in just a few months is a monumental task, but we can do it – with your help.
Help us Vote to Live this Juneteenth. Check out how you can get involved to register 250,000 Black voters on the road to Election Day.
Thank you,
Quentin
