Dear Friend,
We are halfway through Pride month, and I want to thank you for being part of our community at The Trevor Project. You’re part of a fierce and dedicated community that allows our organization to provide life-saving services for LGBTQ+ young people 24/7/365. You and our whole Trevor community demonstrate what Pride truly means.
I’m excited to share an update with you — starting today, my fellow Board members and I will match all gifts $3 for $1* — including the one you make right now. This means that your gift will be 4X-multiplied — a gift of $50 becomes $200, $100 becomes $400, and so on! Together, we’ll show LGBTQ+ young people that they are seen and valued.

Friend, you are such a critical part of The Trevor Project and the work we do. Please support our life-saving work for LGBTQ+ young people. I'm calling on you today to help ensure that our crisis counselors are always a call, chat, or text away from LGBTQ+ young people who are feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed. Your gift will make it possible for Trevor to be here for them. ([link removed])
Twenty-seven years ago, after the success of “TREVOR” — an Oscar-winning short film I directed about a 13-year-old boy whose world turns upside down when word spreads that he’s gay — I discovered there were no 24/7 crisis lines available to serve the unique needs of at-risk LGBTQ+ young people. That weighed on me. So, when the opportunity for a nationwide airing of “TREVOR” appeared, I recruited a well-respected crisis intervention expert to help set up a helpline, provide specialized training for our counselors, and with the able help of my fellow “TREVOR” collaborators, producer Randy Stone and screenwriter Celeste Lecesne, The Trevor Project was born.
More than 1,500 calls came in that first night “TREVOR” aired. We haven’t stopped since. And as long as LGBTQ+ young people need our support, we never will. Our mission is critical and our services are needed now more than ever.

Every LGBTQ+ person deserves support and love. The Trevor Project is here 24/7 for them. I know you’re here for them, too. I know that my fellow Board members and I can count on you.
Please show LGBTQ+ young people that Pride Belongs Here with a life-saving contribution today — your gift will go 4X as far. Make your Pride Belongs Here gift today when every $1 you donate becomes $4 to help save young LGBTQ+ lives. ([link removed])
Thank you for your support!
