Democrats like Gavin Newsom have made it clear—they have no interest in enforcing the law. Instead, Newsom is siding with criminal illegal immigrants and radical activists who are rioting to protect criminal illegal aliens, including those convicted of felonies from deportation.

By supporting these protests, Newsom is rejecting not just the rule of law, but the very laws passed by Congress and enforced by Presidents of both parties for decades.

Let’s be honest: Gavin Newsom isn’t interested in public safety—he’s running for president. He thinks positioning himself as the anti-Trump will pave his path to the White House. This is the same man who has failed upward for years.

His strategy may play well in a Democratic primary, but the American people know better. Voters want a president like Donald Trump, who stands with law enforcement—not a career politician like Newsom, who sides with criminals and violent protesters.

We saw more of this Democrat dysfunction during a Department of Homeland Security press conference, where Senator Alex Padilla brazenly interrupted Secretary Kristi Noem without showing ID or wearing his Senate pin.

It was a shameless political stunt—and he was rightfully forcibly removed from the room by the federal agents.

Padilla’s behavior was beneath the dignity of a U.S. Senator and an embarrassment to California. Let’s not kid ourselves: if Kristi Noem were a Democrat, the media would be screaming sexism over Padilla’s behavior. But because she’s a Republican, the press stays silent.

Padilla also created a serious security threat. Without proper credentials, he could have easily been mistaken for an intruder. His actions were no different from the protesters who disrupt congressional hearings—and they’re removed immediately.

This is what the modern Democrat Party has become: a party of theatrics, lawlessness, and double standards. Meanwhile, President Trump is focused on cleaning up the mess left by Biden, Harris, and the radical Left—especially when it comes to immigration and national security.
