John,

Like millions of concerned Americans across the country, I was proud to join my local No Kings rally on Saturday.

My 80-year old mom and I at the rally in Dana Point.

It was one of the largest political rallies I’ve ever seen in our community – thousands were gathered to peacefully stand up and speak out while our president spent $45 million on a military parade in Washington.

I’m energized by the millions of people who believe, as I do, that our flag doesn’t stand for one man. It stands for freedom, service, and democracy.

Preserving our democracy means standing up and speaking out in its defense. Saturday’s rallies in the district showed that we can peacefully push back.

I’m continuing this effort in Congress, but I can’t do it alone. Let’s keep showing up, together.

Thank you,

Mike
