Senator Padilla said his name, clearly identified himself, and was just doing his job – asking tough questions and representing the people he was elected to serve. Instead of hearing him out, he was tackled, handcuffed, and removed from the room.

It’s unacceptable and un-American. I won’t stand by while Trump ignores court orders and tries to silence folks who disagree with him.

But I can’t stand alone. To have any hope of taking back the House and holding this President accountable, we need to win here in NY-19. And Republicans have already said I’m their top target.
