John,
When I was a firefighter, I didn’t ask people if they were Democrats or Republicans before I ran into a burning building. I showed up, did the job, and made sure folks got the help they needed.
That’s what public service is supposed to be about—showing up for people when it matters most. But right now, we’ve got a Congresswoman who’s missing in action.
Young Kim votes with her party leadership nearly every single time, even when it means turning her back on working families in our district.
She’s sided with MAGA Republicans to:
- Vote against lowering prescription drug costs
- Oppose investments in infrastructure and clean energy
- Block common-sense gun safety reforms
- Undermine reproductive freedom
We need real problem solvers in Congress. That’s what I’ve dedicated my whole life to. And it’s what I’ll keep doing in Congress, for the people of CA-40.
But I can’t do this alone. Can I count on you to chip in $25 or whatever you can afford right now? Every dollar helps us knock on more doors, reach more voters, and fight back.

Thank you for being in this fight with me.
– Joe
