Hey John,

On Wednesday, I’m joining leaders from around the country (including Rep. Ro Khanna) to launch our new campaign: “End the Oligarchy, Save our Futures.” 

First, let’s just sum it up. We’re going to do to Big Oil what organizers did to Big Tobacco: make them so unpopular and distrusted in public circles that it leads to a backlash against their toxic product - winning the regulations we need to avert the climate crisis, while simultaneously robbing Trump of one of his biggest donor bases.

We’ll share all the details on Wednesday, but I want to tell you a little about what you can expect — and why I think it’s worth taking 45 minutes out of your evening to tune in. We will:

• Share lessons from around the world on how young people have used mass disruption to bring down authoritarian regimes. 
• Unveil our 3-year plan for how we take on Trump, corporate Democrats, and Big Oil so we can overhaul our political system and win a Green New Deal.
• Give you concrete ways to plug in, whether it’s organizing your school or fighting to make Big Oil foot the bill for climate disasters, not working people.  
• Talk about what’s happening in LA and around the country, and how we stay sane and resilient in the midst of fascist chaos

We’ve got some incredible guest speakers. Youth activists in LA and NYC will share how they’ve already been dealing a blow to Big Oil, and how we can replicate their success. We’ll hear from Representative Ro Khanna, who’s been leading the fight against Trump’s Big Oil agenda in DC.
