John, the UN conference to discuss formally recognizing Palestine as a country has been postponed.

It was supposed to start tomorrow -- but under pressure from the US and Israel, and facing complications from the Israel-Iran situation, France and the UK have suspended it. They say it will still happen, but we can’t leave it up to them.

We urgently need to hold President Macron and Prime Minister Starmer to the promise of recognizing Palestine and to set a firm date: that means ramping up our campaign advocating for our world leaders to push ahead for a two-state solution.

How these leaders act will make all the difference in whether other countries decide to follow suit. We can’t slow down now -- not when hope is so desperately needed that BOTH Israel and Palestine can peacefully coexist. Can you chip in to help us double up our efforts?

A Palestinian child is laying down, recovering from an amputated arm and leg. She is holding a doll.

John -- it’s time: in two weeks dozens of world leaders could formally recognize Palestine as a country.

Finally.

This isn't some symbolic gesture. It’s a monumental first step towards an independent Palestine -- one treated as an equal in global politics, not just a territory in conflict. It would give Palestine the legal and political power to argue its case in international courts and forums, and would put real pressure on Israel to end its genocidal war and illegal occupation.

France and the UK have already signalled their support, and now diplomatic momentum is mounting. How President Macron and Prime Minister Starmer proceed before and at this UN conference for a two-state solution will make all the difference in whether other countries’ leaders decide to follow suit.

The Trump administration knows it. That’s why they’re ramping up pressure on France and the UK, even issuing private warnings. We can make sure they don’t back down.

Together, we can go all-out for the next two weeks, for example commissioning polling, advocating in front of embassies in London, Paris, and New York, and unleashing a media firestorm alongside ads and massive billboards to push key leaders to recognize Palestine.

If we want to have any chance of BOTH Israel and Palestine peacefully coexisting, this is how we start. Can you help us end this cycle of death -- and build a more just and equitable world for everyone?
