NASA has always stood for something bigger than all of us, John,

From moon landings to Mars rovers, it’s been at the forefront of discoveries that stretch the imagination and deepen our understanding of the world.

But Donald Trump just proposed a budget that would gut NASA by 25%: that’s a whopping $6 billion cut. Much of that money will be pulled directly from NASA’s Earth Science Division, which plays a crucial role in climate research and disaster preparedness – which, unfortunately, is needed more than ever with increasingly extreme weather events. This is yet another assault on science – please chip in today to help us fight back against these cuts to NASA: [[link removed]]

“[These cuts are] threatening the continued Earth observations and information that can help our farmers estimate crop yields and assist emergency responders in preparing for and responding to natural disasters.”
– Congresswoman Valerie Foushee, NC-04

This research helps all Americans stay prepared and safe, regardless of party lines. But Trump’s budget would kneecap everyone’s ability to predict and respond to tornadoes, droughts, and wildfires — just so he can score political points.

John, can we count on you to rush a donation to SEEC PAC to stop this budget from becoming reality? Trump wants a hollowed out NASA. We’re working toward a bold, forward-looking one. [[link removed]]
