In celebration of World Oceans Month, we invite you to take a deep dive into the world of sharks and our shark fin campaign. For two decades, WildAid has worked in China with partners like Maggie Q and Yao Ming to help cut shark imports by 80%. In Thailand, where more than half of the country's citizens have eaten shark fin at celebratory events like weddings, we are leading a 'Celebrate with #NoSharkFin' campaign with Thai celebrities. But more needs to be done. The world's booming shark fin trade kills up to 73 million sharks per year. This unsustainable, cruel and ecologically devastating trade needs to end.
