A few short years ago, just months before the good people of Pennsylvania elected me as their Governor, we were running a different kind of statewide campaign.

We showed up everywhere. We treated everyone with respect. And we brought more people into the fold of this movement than ever before. And John, on Election Day, we didn’t just win. We won in places that hadn’t voted for a Democrat in a long, long time.

Together, we sent a clear message across the country: In Pennsylvania, hope is stronger than fear. Unity is stronger than division. And our freedoms are more important than partisan ideology.

Since day one, those values have guided my leadership as Governor. And John, that’s exactly how we’ve been able to accomplish so much progress for the good people of Pennsylvania, like investing in education and good-paying jobs, tripling the Child Care Tax Credit, supporting small businesses, and speeding up our government.

I’ll always fight to make progress on the issues we care most about. But Pennsylvania is always a battleground, and we need to do everything we can to keep moving forward. So once again, I’m relying on this grassroots movement to power this critical work.
