June 14 – At 6:05 pm Eastern time, when we issued our final press release of the day with more than 90% of events concluded, the No Kings protests remained overwhelmingly peaceful across the country. We estimate over 5 million people participated—nearly 2 million more than on April 5. Some top moments and favorite social media posts from the day are in our blog. And you are invited to join us at 8pm ET / 5pm PT on June 16 for a debrief and next steps.

As you may know the day was also marked by political assassinations and violence. In addition to the assassinations and shootings early in the day in Minnesota, there was a late breaking shooting in Salt Lake City, UT,  that killed one bystander and injured others. Shooters in both those states have been found and arrested.
