I have a 7-year-old, a 6-year-old, and a 3-year-old at home, friend. So believe me when I say this: I’ve seen this routine before.

You get caught. You know you’re caught. And you still try to deflect and lie your way out of it – badly.

That was Kristi Noem testifying before Congress. When presented with a clearly doctored image – one that she and Trump used to justify deporting Abrego Garcia – Noem pulled the oldest trick in the book. She wouldn’t even look at it.

When I asked her five times if the photo was real or fake, she deflected. When we walked the image over to her, she stared straight ahead like a kid trying not to get grounded.

I called it what it was: a lie.

I’ve done it before, and I will keep doing it every time MAGA Republicans lie, deflect, and put people in danger to score points with their Liar-in-Chief.
