GLAAD’s ALERT Desk Report Fills Information Gap Left by Media
GLAAD has announced the findings of its third annual ALERT Desk Report, tracking trends in anti-LGBTQ hate and extremism across the US. The ALERT Desk is needed now more than ever as media and law enforcement continue to fall short when it comes to reporting hate crimes. Thanks to supporters like you, GLAAD is able to step up to share this vital information with journalists and community members, bringing to light the real world harm against our community, exacerbated by misinformation, minimal protections on social media, and anti-LGBTQ legislation.
