Ten years ago today, Donald Trump came down a golden escalator and announced his run for president.

It was a joke to some. A reality TV sideshow. A campaign no one thought could win.

But it did. Twice.

Ten years later, we’re still living with the consequences.

Children in cages. Roe overturned. Voting rights gutted. Billionaires hoard wealth while working families struggle to pay rent. A violent insurrection at the Capitol. Sending people to an El Salvadoran Gulag. Using the military against American citizens in LA. And now, tanks rolling through Washington D.C., while Trump declares himself above the law.

We know last November didn’t go the way we hoped. We lost ground. Trump regained the White House and both the House and Senate. Some people have given up. They believe the situation is hopeless. The country is irreparably tainted and evil. We believe they're wrong. But here’s the difference between us and them:

We don’t quit. We don’t run. And we sure as hell don’t surrender.

In 2026, we have a shot to take it all back. Flip the House. Expand the Senate. Strip Trump of power and make his next two years a living hell.
