Across the country, Republicans are pushing agendas that are hurting our schools, undercutting our teachers, and depriving our children of the quality education they deserve.

Instead of investing in classrooms, they’re pushing book bans, politicizing school curriculums, and vilifying educators who are simply trying to do their jobs. They’re slashing budgets while giving tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy — and then blaming teachers when our schools don’t have the resources they need.

Our children deserve safe, fully-funded public schools where every student has a real chance to succeed. And our teachers deserve respect, not attacks for pushing back against budget cuts and political or religious agendas being used to influence their curriculums.

In Congress, I’m fighting for:
* Higher pay and better protections for educators
* Increased funding for public schools
* Safe classrooms free from political interference
* Access to mental health support for students and staff
