We fell short this time, and the timing couldn’t be worse. Republicans know flipping NM-02 in 2026 could be the key to locking in their extreme agenda, which means: more attacks on our rights, more chaos in Congress and zero accountability for Donald Trump and his allies.

This will be one of the most competitive races in the country, and GOP megadonors are watching our every move, especially with our second public-facing FEC deadline of the election cycle just over two weeks away.

If they spot any sign of weakness in our numbers come July 1st, they’ll flood this district with even more dark money and attack ads filled with lies and misinformation.
