While we celebrate those victories and breathe a sigh of relief, those rulings are also a reminder that we can’t live at the whims of a conservative court. We deserve elected officials who will be proactive and enact transformative change legislatively.

Leaders like Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz — the first former Dreamer ever elected to the New York State Assembly — fearlessly fighting for our shared values day in and day out.
