"There is no greater vocation than service to your country."

John, my dad told me that years ago. A veteran and career law enforcement officer, he raised me to believe, deep in my bones, that doing the right thing is worth the effort.

I'll never forget him handing me my badge and credentials after I took my first oath to uphold the Constitution. And I'll never forget the confidence he had in my ability to win my race for Congress in a district that hadn't elected a Democrat in 50 years.

Just as my father has never stopped showing up for me, I'll never stop showing up for our Commonwealth.

No matter the challenge, I will stand strong, work to make life more affordable for families, and protect our hard-won freedoms from far-right attacks.
