We have the best dad. For our entire lives, he has made us feel loved, empowered, and like there is nothing we can’t achieve. He’s taught us the importance of family, public service, and working for something bigger than ourselves.
From his work as Superintendent to his time in the Senate, he has dedicated his career to uplifting kids across Colorado.
When he was Superintendent of the Denver Public Schools, he fought for some of the most significant educational initiatives in the country to dramatically improve outcomes for kids. As Senator, he worked nonstop to expand the Child Tax Credit, which cut childhood poverty in nearly half and represented one of the largest tax cuts for families in a generation.
If there is one thing we know about our dad, he truly believes in a better future for Colorado—and for every family and every child in our state.
We are thrilled to support our Dad in this campaign. Even though he cracks some of the worst dad jokes we’ve ever heard, we know all the good he will accomplish for Colorado will make up for it.
