Today, Donald Trump is celebrating his birthday with a military parade
through the streets of Washington, D.C. It’s a manufactured display of
power straight out of the dictators’ playbook — and he’s threatening
protestors with “very heavy force.”

Between this military parade and the crackdowns against protestors in Los
Angeles, Trump has made it clear that he’ll do anything to stoke fear and
division and bend our democracy to his will.
But here’s the good news: We’re not backing down.
Pramila’s building a bold, people-powered campaign to fight back and
defend our democracy because she knows that grassroots movements have
always been the antidote to authoritarianism.
