John, it's been a week of both setbacks and progress for LGBTQ+ rights.

First, the Trump administration removed non-discrimination protections in healthcare for transgender Americans. It's a sickening, unjust policy that Hiral will fight hard to undo.

Then, a few days later, the Supreme Court, in a 6-3 decision that included justices appointed by two Republican presidents, ruled that no one can be fired for their sexual orientation or gender identity.

In both instances, we were reminded of David Schweikert's failure to support equality for all.

Hiral called on Schweikert to speak out when the administration tried to strip healthcare from transgender Americans, but he was silent. And as the Supreme Court -- in a ruling written by a Republican-appointed Justice -- was affirming that LGBTQ+ rights extend to workplaces, Schweikert's opposition to the Equality Act sticks out like a sore thumb.

Schweikert has repeatedly shown that he's on the wrong side of history, and it's time AZ-06 had a representative who fights for everyone.
