DONATE ([link removed]) ADOPT ([link removed]) VOLUNTEER ([link removed]) FOSTER ([link removed])
[link removed]
Dear John,

Throughout this trying pandemic, the volunteers here at PAWS Chicago have been nothing short of amazing—and every single person donating their time, compassion, and energy to PAWS Chicago deserves our sincerest thanks.

Our volunteers are at the heart and soul of the PAWS Chicago mission, a fact that has only been strengthened by COVID-19. For the month of May, we chose not to nominate one Volunteer of the Month, but to nominate them all. Our volunteers have taken every change resulting from this pandemic in stride – they’ve stepped up to fill 12 new volunteer teams, adapted to volunteer virtually, and have offered boundless support for our organization.

Because of our volunteers, more animals are finding families, more foster homes are welcoming pets in need, and more lives are being saved. Thank you, volunteers!

** The Whole Kitten Caboodle
------------------------------------------------------------

It's raining cats and… cats! So far, we’ve rescued well over 100 kittens this Kitten Season, a time of year when the weather gets warm and many mother cats give birth to their litter(s). Kittens like Tully, a neonate orphan who arrived at PAWS weighing just half a pound, are entering the world and getting ready to find homes. In other words, the population of our Lincoln Park Adoption Center’s Kitty City is booming!

If you’re thinking of adding a furry feline friend to your family, why not add two? Adopting two kittens at once can provide a positive outlet for play, help teach proper socialization, and saves two lives at once. Plus, who wouldn’t want two times the toe beans?

** Thank You, Copper Dog!
------------------------------------------------------------

On May 14^th, Copper Dog Scotch Whisky ([link removed]) and The Dogist teamed up to host Thank Your Dog Day—raising a glass to all our canine coworkers and rascally roommates who have been more than our pets these past few weeks. For every photo shared of pets from home with #athomewiththedog and #copperdogdonation, they donated $1 and split proceeds equally between three charitable partners, including PAWS Chicago. By the end of the day, $30K was donated to PAWS! Thank you, Copper Dog!
