We can beat diabetes—but we can’t do it without your help
Did you know that one out of two American adults live with diabetes or prediabetes? The American Diabetes Association® (ADA) is fighting for the day when the burdens of diabetes are no more—but to make that happen, we must make a long-term, sustained investment in the research that will get us there. That’s where you come in.
Thanks to our friends at the Amaranth Diabetes Foundation, when you donate to the ADA this month your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000. Your support—100% of it—will be dedicated to funding hundreds of active diabetes research projects on topics across the spectrum of diabetes prevention, care and treatment.
Recently we introduced you to Dr. Laura Cristina Alonso, an ADA-funded researcher whose work is generously supported by the Amaranth Diabetes Foundation. She is investigating ways to regenerate insulin-producing beta cells to replace those that are lost in diabetes as a way to prevent or even treat diabetes. And she is just one example of the many dedicated researchers we support.
Will you help us meet our goal of raising $100,000 to be matched for diabetes research?
