Today’s decision is a true indictment of the way Donald Trump does business. The way Trump does business is not America’s way.

My father, a construction worker, would often tell me growing up, “If you want something to be permanent then you have to lay a solid foundation.” We did that with our DACA case — building a solid argument and winning in courtroom after courtroom.

With each of our wins and throughout this fight, I’ve been inspired by DACA recipients like Elmer Lizarde, who came to this country at just 5 years old. He grew up here, went to our schools, and gave back to our community. His spirit is no less American than yours or mine.

The Supreme Court agreed. And they ruled the Trump administration’s attempt to end DACA was “arbitrary and capricious.” The Court is right — and there are many more Trump policies that fit that description.

Today’s ruling is a major win, but our fight isn’t over. Trump’s harmful agenda must be defeated. Team, can you stand with us today? Let’s keep this momentum going.
