BREAKING FROM NBC NEWS:
SUPREME COURT RULES TRUMP CANNOT END DACA
Friends, this decision is a HUGE win - for our democracy and for the 800,000 Dreamers who deserve to live without fear of deportation.
Dreamers are teachers. Students. Community leaders. Health care workers on the front lines of COVID-19. That's why our Democratic Attorneys General have fought alongside Dreamers for this win every step of the way. Today is a day of celebration. But it's not the end of the fight.
The futures of the DACA program and of Dreamers are still at risk. We need Congress to do its part and pass PERMANENT protections for these young people. If we let today's good news be the end of our work, hundreds of thousands of people could be deported to countries they may not even remember.
Democratic AGs are committed to seeing this fight all the way through - and they need you with them, friends. We're collecting 10,000 rapid-response survey answers TODAY ONLY, and yours isn't registered yet, so please tell us before midnight:
DO YOU SUPPORT PERMANENT PROTECTIONS FOR DREAMERS?
