John,

Did you know the VA is limiting access to the VA MISSION Act’s community care options because of the COVID-19 pandemic?

This has restricted when and where veterans are able to get medical care at this critical time. The VA canceled nearly 6 million appointments during the pandemic, and more than 2 million have yet to be rescheduled.

Can you take a moment to call your lawmakers about this critical issue impacting our nation’s veterans? It will take just a few minutes using our “Call Your Officials” tool.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues around the country, the VA should be focused on removing barriers for veterans to receive health care, not creating barriers. In this unprecedented time, care for veterans should be a collaborative conversation between the VA, veterans and community providers.

Thank you for telling Washington to allow veterans to access the community care options they deserve! We hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.

Sincerely,
