Yesterday California Senator Alex Padilla was pushed to the ground, put in
handcuffs, and forcibly removed from a press conference being held by
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

This as Trump deploys the Marines and National Guard to LA to silence
peaceful protestors and send a clear message: dissent will NOT be
tolerated. And meanwhile, he’s rolling tanks, rocket launchers, and armed
vehicles into our nation's capital for his taxpayer-funded military
extravaganza.

We CANNOT allow Trump to continue his blatant militarization of our

Trump's latest authoritarian actions mirror oppressive regimes throughout
history. Tanks are arriving by the dozens to DC, alongside rocket
launchers and thousands of soldiers – all designed to intimidate us.

Even worse, while Trump parades military equipment through the capital,
he's simultaneously deploying the military against our communities – an
incredibly dangerous and unprecedented abuse of power that puts ALL of us
in danger.

This isn't democracy – this is authoritarianism in action. And that's why
Our Revolution is taking immediate steps to confront Trump's militarism
with peaceful, overwhelming resistance. Already, activists from across the
country are organizing buses, banners, permits, and solidarity actions to
make our message crystal clear: our communities WILL NOT accept
dictatorship-like intimidation on American soil.
