Israel's massive and unprecedented operation to destroy Iran's nuclear program continued throughout the night in multiple waves and is ongoing this morning.
Israeli officials are saying the operation may take days if not weeks to complete.
More than 200 Israeli fighter jets have struck Iranian nuclear facilities across the country, taking out dozens of military targets, and eliminating senior military leaders.
President Trump made clear this morning that Israel's action is the direct result of Iran's refusal to accept the offer put on the table by envoy Steve Witkoff to permanently and verifiably dismantle Iran's program.
The president reaffirmed America's strong support for Israel and said that Israel's operation "has been excellent. We gave them a chance and they didn't take it. They got hit hard, very hard...And there's more to come. A lot more."
"We of course support Israel, obviously and supported it like nobody has ever supported it," President Trump added.
CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS SPEAK OUT: Members of Congress have issued more than 200 statements since last night in support of Israel. It is vital that more members of Congress speak out. SENIOR MILITARY LEADERS ELIMINATED: Numerous key figures who have shaped Iran's decades-long campaign of terrorism against the United States and Israel have been killed, including the Chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Commander of the IRGC and the Commander of Iran’s Emergency Command.
Israel also eliminated the senior echelon of the IRGC's Air Force, including its top commander and the head of its drone force.
STRIKES ON NATANZ: Israel struck Iran's largest uranium enrichment facility at Natanz "several times," with footage on social media showing heavy smoke billowing from the site. The site hosts more than 87% of Iran’s known installed centrifuges. Israel believes Natanz has been significantly damaged. Below is an animation of the strikes on Natanz.
THREE SIMULTANEOUS MOSSAD GROUND OPERATIONS: Details are emerging of a remarkable series of Mossad operations, formulated over many years with precise intelligence, to sabotage Iranian nuclear and military sites.
In central Iran, squads of Mossad commando fighters operated precision-guided weapons to eliminate Iranian air defenses.
As IDF fighter jets launched the attack, the precision missiles were activated to take out Iranian surface-to-air missiles with precision.
In a second operation, Mossad agents planted sophisticated weapons on vehicles in Iran and deployed them when the attack began.
The Mossad also revealed that a secret explosive drone base in Iran, built over many years for this operation, was used to send drones into the heart of Iran and destroy defense systems and weapons. The drones struck Iranian air defenses at the Asfaqabad base near Tehran, and other sophisticated weapons that Iran planned to use to strike Israel.
ISRAEL BRACING FOR IRANIAN RESPONSE: Iran launched 100 suicide drones at Israel in an initial response overnight. The Israeli Air Force, reportedly in conjunction with the United States and other allies, successfully intercepted the drones before they reached Israel. Additional retaliatory strikes are expected, and Israelis across the country are on high alert.
May God protect the people of Israel and the brave men and women of the IDF. Am Yisrael Chai!
