Yesterday, Kristi Noem's agents threw California Senator Alex Padilla to the ground and handcuffed him. All for trying to ask her a simple question.

Senator Padilla put it best yesterday: If this is how this administration responds to a Senator with a question. If this is how the Department of Homeland Security responds to a Senator with a question, you can only imagine what they're doing to farmers, to cooks, to day laborers. To everyday normal people.

Donald Trump has weaponized the federal government against the American people. He has deployed the National Guard to California illegally, against the wishes of the state's Governor. Pete Hegseth has mobilized the military and sent Marines into LA to help ICE carry out mass raids not against violent criminals, but against anyone they suspect of being undocumented. And they're sweeping up Americans and people here legally in the process.

We have no other word for this. It is tyranny. It is authoritarian. And we want to make sure we know who is with us in the fight to defeat this government and Trump's Republican Party.
