How do we take care of the most people possible while complying with purposefully vague and outdated laws?

It's a question no health care professionals should have to ask a lawyer. Unfortunately, it's a question we hear all the time from our clients.

Team, thanks to supporters like you, we're able to give clinics and providers the expert legal guidance they need— completely free of charge —to stay open and care for their communities. And right now, you have a unique opportunity to double your impact with a 2X match. [[link removed]]

2X YOUR IMPACT [[link removed]]

When Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022, Tennessee was one of many U.S. states with a "trigger ban" on the books, meaning they had enacted a total abortion ban that would take effect automatically after the Supreme Court issued a decision.

Tennessee's ban took effect shortly after the ruling, forcing clinics to halt abortion care. Our longtime client CHOICES, a Memphis-based reproductive health center offering everything from birth care to gender-affirming care, had to quickly adapt.

With our legal support, CHOICES opened a second clinic in Illinois in October 2023, addressing a vast abortion desert across the South and Midwest. Today, they provide care to patients from over 21 states, reimagining what reproductive health access can look like in a post- Roe landscape. [[link removed]]

Earlier this week, we shared a powerful letter from Jennifer Pepper, President and CEO of CHOICES, underscoring how bold leadership—backed by strong legal support, free of charge—helps clinics adapt and continue delivering essential care despite constant threats.

Your generosity powers this work—free legal support that independent clinics and providers rely on to survive and continue delivering essential care, even under relentless attack. [[link removed]]

Together, we'll fight to protect and expand reproductive rights for generations to come.
