Early Voting Starts Saturday, and
Saturday is the Deadline to Register
The last day to register to vote in New York's Primary Election will be Saturday, June 14th. Early voting runs from June 14th-22nd. And Election Day is Tuesday, June 24th. We are hosting virtual election briefing at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18th. Join us to learn everything you need to know to make your voice heard in this election. The Beauty Justice Act Passed the Senate
Take 2 Minutes to Help It Pass the Assembly
With help from your phone calls, we were able to get the New York State Beauty Justice Act ([link removed]) (S.2057 ([link removed]) /A.2054 ([link removed]) ) through the Senate. If you could take 2 more minutes of your time to call Speaker of the New York State Assembly Carl Heastie (518-455-3791) and ask him to help get it passed by the Assembly, we can get this bill on the Governor's desk to protect New Yorkers from the toxic chemicals found in personal care products! Celebrate Juneteenth at the Harlem Juneteenth Parade and Street Festival
Join us on Saturday, June 14th for the 32nd Annual Harlem Juneteenth Parade and Street Festival at Malcolm X Boulevard & 116th Street. Peggy Shepard has been named one of the Grand Marshals for this year’s parade, which is the longest running Juneteenth parade in New York State. The parade starts at 11:00 AM and the street festival runs from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. More Info ([link removed])
