Hi there,
We know that anti-democracy extremists advance their agenda through fear-mongering and spreading misinformation. So today, we’re going to set the record straight by playing a little game of true or false with you!
We’re calling it the Fair Fight Fact Check. Here’s what you need to know:
- The quiz is quick and in this email
- There are only 3 questions
- You’ll find out the answers by clicking the link at the end of this email
Before we get into the quiz, we’ll give a little bit of context:
As some of you may know, Fair Fight has been fighting in the courtroom to hold an extreme anti-voter group accountable for trying to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters ahead of the 2021 U.S. Senate runoff election in Georgia.
In Fair Fight v. True the Vote, we’re making the case to defend the freedom to vote as protected by the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Why? Because True the Vote launched an effort to silence people who were disproportionately people of color and first-time voters with mass voter challenges, just weeks after Georgia flipped blue in a presidential election for the first time in 28 years.
Even though this case is about True the Vote’s efforts in the 2021 Georgia runoffs, the outcome will define beyond just one election. This is about enforcing the Voting Rights Act and a national standard against voter intimidation to address a growing threat against vulnerable communities.
This is what Fair Fight is all about. No one has the right to win an election, but EVERY eligible American has the right to vote and to have their vote be counted. Fair Fight is working tirelessly to fight against anti-voter extremism. Before you get to the quiz below, will you make a contribution to Fair Fight?
Now…let’s get into it!
