WASHINGTON, D.C. — With tensions already running high across the country, President Donald Trump issued a stern warning on Tuesday ahead of this Saturday’s military parade commemorating the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday: any attempt to disrupt the event will be met with overwhelming force.

“If there’s any protest once they come out, they will be met with very big force,” Trump told reporters during a press conference. “People that hate our country… they will be met with very heavy force.”
