The time to show up and to give OUT is now.
This Giving Tuesday we’re protecting transgender kids.

Dear John,

Cooper Do-Nuts. Compton’s Cafeteria. Black Cat Tavern. Stonewall. The birth of the LGBTQ movement started in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, but word spread across the country: a Pride celebration was taking place in June 1970. Our community was gathering to be heard, to be seen and to mark the anniversary of a revolution.

50 years later, we have a renewed fight to combat the systems of oppression that disproportionately affect queer people of color, especially Black queer and trans people. As we prepare for a critical national election, it is clearer than ever: the time to show up and to give OUT is now.

Give OUT Day is the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community. The funds we raise through this campaign directly support the state-based queer advocacy movement from coast to coast. The more donations we receive (of $10 or more) between now and June 30th, the better our chances to double that impact.

This year’s Pride looks different, but we all know it’s not really about the parades. It’s a time to amplify our voices and advance the fight for equality in the places we each call home.

GIVE OUT NOW

In solidarity,
