Notts Pride returns this summer to celebrate the region's vibrant LGBTQIA+ community. The event will begin with a visibility march starting at Listergate at midday, weaving through the city centre and finishing at Sneinton Market.Â
The Main Stage at Sneinton Market Square will host a range of artists from the LGBTQIA+ community, including Rileasa, GIRLBAND!, Jason Kwan, Rob Green, Tom Aspaul, Su, I Think, and more to be announced!

This fun family festival aims to inspire children and promote positive mental health through activities, performances and stalls. There will be specialists on hand to equip you and your children with tips, tools and techniques to use at home, alongside other ideas to boost our mood, like sports, arts, and nature.
With a superhero theme, children can also take part in the popular Superhero Cape Walk, to celebrate just how incredible they are and help to build self-belief and confidence. Entry is £1 per person (Nottingham Castle annual pass holders will also require a £1 ticket).

The Nottingham Poetry Festival begins today, with more than 40 events taking place over the next ten days. The festival will once again showcase poetry in all its forms, from emerging artists at open mics to nationally acclaimed poets, poetry set to music, poetry slams, workshops, debates, and so much more across 50 venues.
Headline acts this year include the Ambassador for Independent Bookshop Week, Michael Pedersen, and award-winning trans writer RJ Hunter, while three of the country’s finest hip hop acts and lyricists - Jah Digga, JayaHadADream and Cappo - will perform at Metronome with full live bands.
