Dear John,
This week, One Nation party members have been hard at work,
sharpening the issues and policies we’ll be taking to the floor of
parliament next month.
In preparation for our Senators taking office, we’ve launched one
of our biggest surveys yet, reaching out to the many thousands of One
Nation members to ask a simple but powerful question: What matters
most to you? What issues do our party members want raised in
parliament, whether in debate, speeches, questions, or motions?
The results have been clear. Across the board, One Nation members
are deeply concerned about the level of government waste under
Labor. There’s a strong push for smarter
spending, with many suggesting that savings could be better
used to reduce taxes or fund projects that
actually grow the economy.
This is direct democracy in action, party members
shaping the priorities we’ll take into the chamber. It’s the voice of
everyday Australians, not the voice of political elites, guiding the
path forward.
Our 'Orange Army' of supporters and members powered four Senators
into the new parliament, and we’re making sure their efforts reflect
Australia’s concerns.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be reaching out again to hear your views
on some of the big debates ahead. Together, we’ll build common-sense
policies to take to the floor of parliament, policies that stand up to
the major parties and put Australians first.
Policies that will bring about the change that so many people have
relied on Pauline Hanson and her team to deliver.
Our broad community survey process will put the policy concepts
raised by our party members to the test. Our survey questions will
ask, what is the broad public support for our policy ideas and
concepts?
On 1 July, Warwick Stacey and Tyron Whitten begin
their terms as One Nation Senators, alongside Senator Malcolm Roberts,
who begins his new term. Senator Pauline Hanson continues in her
current term until July 2028. All three will be officially sworn in
when Parliament returns on 22 July, marking a new
chapter for One Nation in the Senate.
We look forward to fighting for the issues that matter to you.
