True Texas Project's "Certified True Texan" training has trained hundreds of Texans across the state on the ins and outs of being effective and responsible citizens.  We believe a grassroots army should be a well-trained army, and we are devoted to training activists to be the best they can be.

We’re now proud to announce our next Certified True Texan Training for YOUTH, focused on teaching younger Texans from 6th-12th grade the basics of Texas history, governance, and conservative activism.

Note:  we will be repeating this class in October in the Houston area.

This session will include a youth version of all 5 of the Certified True Texan classes. At the completion of all 5, participants earn their Certified True Texan Liberty Passport and a free CTT Youth T Shirt.

**Family & Friends:  The Special "I'm a Certified True Texan" shirts are free to the youth who are registered, but are also available for purchase.  Select "Purchase a CTT Shirt" when registering.  NOTE:  last day to purchase a T Shirt will be July 9th.  

Class Descriptions:

True Texas Project 101 - Who we are, what we do, and why we do it, led by TTP CEO and founders, Julie & Fred McCarty.

Constitutional Bootcamp – Learn the basics of the Constitution and why our Constitution has been so successful for so long, led by Fredericksburg Tea Party's Matt Long.

Citizen Advocate Training – Become an effective citizen advocate at every level of government, presented by Fran Rhodes, TTP President.

True Texas Liberty – Understand the basics of our American economic system and how it compares to things like woke capitalism, fascism, nationalism, socialism, and communism, led by Austin insider Tim Hardin.

Elections and Campaigns – Learn what it takes to help someone run for office, or maybe one day do it yourself!   We'll prepare you to be future legislators, and in the mean time, teach you how to help get good folks elected to office.  This class is led by Candidate Specialist Justin Maloney.

The training is FREE, but you must rsvp!  Either bring a sack lunch, or purchase a box lunch when you reserve your class spot. 

Adults and siblings not participating in the training but sticking around while your teen trains, please register as an observer, and you are welcome to purchase a lunch if you desire.
