Winning here in Iowa is key to flipping the Senate.
DemocratsJoin us.

I’m running for Senate to fight for working families in Iowa, John, but the implications of this race extend far beyond just my state. I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain, and then, if you can, split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC to help us get to victory in November.

Winning here in Iowa is key to flipping the Senate. Right now, the Des Moines Register -- the gold standard of Iowa polling -- has me up by three points against Republican Joni Ernst. That’s great news not just for my race, but for our fight to flip the Senate and lift Democrats from Joe Biden to candidates down-ballot to victory in November.

But we can’t take any of this for granted. Mitch McConnell and outside GOP groups have pledged to pour upwards of $20 million into our state to defeat me -- and you can bet Democrats in battlegrounds across the country will have just as tough a fight.

That’s why we need your help, John. What grassroots supporters like you can contribute now, while it’s still relatively early in the general election, will make an incredible difference in how we’re able to scale up our voter outreach and mobilization over the next four months.

Can you contribute $10 to my campaign and the DNC? Your support, no matter how big or how small, will ensure we can build the resources and infrastructure we need to give Democrats the winning edge they need in Iowa and across the country.

I’m ready to be a leader for Iowans on day one, fighting for affordable health care, to protect Social Security, and to create good-paying jobs. And I know Democrats across the country, running for office at every level, feel the same.

Whether we can rise to office and take up that fight depends entirely on people like you, John -- the grassroots supporters who power our party. Your support translates directly to a stronger data, technology, and organizing infrastructure that Democrats across the country, including me, will rely on to give us the competitive edge to win in November.

So what do you say: Can I count on you to split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC today? I realize it may be a difficult time for some folks to give, but if you can spare even a few dollars it'd go a long way right now.

Thanks for being in this fight,

Theresa

P.S. I know not everyone can donate right now, and that’s ok: I appreciate your support, however you can show it. But that’s also why, if you’re in a position to contribute financially, your $10 support to my campaign and the DNC would have such a meaningful impact. Thank you.
