Celebrate Life Month [[link removed]] is well underway, and I’m excited to hear about all the ways pro-life Oregonians are taking action to make a difference for life this month!
One of our branches of pro-life action is Grassroots & Sidewalk Advocacy, [[link removed]] which can involve anything from going door-to-door taking surveys to advocating for the unborn outside abortion facilities.

And when we say that pro-life advocacy can change hearts and save lives, we mean it literally!
Just take this story recently shared with us by a pro-life volunteer (story retold by ORTL with details withheld to protect privacy):
Shortly before Celebrate Life Month began, a young mother arrived at a Planned Parenthood facility here in Oregon for her scheduled abortion.
But thankfully, she wasn't alone.
This young mom received life-affirming encouragement and offers of help from a family friend and a pro-life sidewalk advocate who were both praying peacefully on the sidewalk outside the abortion facility.
Thanks to this support, rather than going through with her scheduled appointment, she changed her mind.
She chose life for her little one!
Stories like these keep us motivated to continue our advocacy (including and especially during Celebrate Life Month) to protect the unborn and provide pro-life support and encouragement to moms who may otherwise feel that abortion is their only option (learn more about how to share your pro-life story) [[link removed]].
