The senator’s office says, “He was in the federal building to receive a briefing…and was listening to Secretary Noem’s press conference. He tried to ask the secretary a question and was forcibly removed by federal agents, forced to the ground and handcuffed.”

At a time when Trump is using the military against the American people, Senator Padilla was using the power he has to ask tough questions on all of our behalf. We need more of that, and he deserves our thanks.
