John, I sounded the alarm just DAYS ago in the Oversight Committee that this administration has threatened to arrest elected officials.

Today, they did it.

Senator Alex Padilla – a man who’s been a judge, a Representative, and now a U.S. Senator – was forcibly removed from an open press conference in his OWN STATE.

Why? Because he dared speak out against Donald Trump and Kristi Noem’s cruelty. If they’d do this to a Senator in broad daylight, imagine what they’re doing behind closed doors to migrant men, women and children – or anyone they think fits that description.

Fascists only win when we roll over and let them. But John, no matter what happens, I need you to know this: I will never stop calling them out. Ever.
