Hi John,
Let me introduce myself: I’m Stefanie Brown James, Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Collective PAC.
By now, you know we have to ask our supporters to help power our fight to build Black political power. It’s true – I am going to ask you to donate today, but I’m also going to talk about why this fight is SO important, now more than ever.
So before I go on, let’s get this out of the way: If you’re already committed to our mission, I’d be so grateful if you could chip in $ right now → [link removed]

Alright, let’s get down to the important stuff, like why our fight to build Black political power is more important now than it’s ever been before.
Donald Trump is attacking our rights, John:
→ He’s threatening mail-in ballots and limiting access to the ballot box, endangering our right to vote.
→ He’s dismantling DEI and ending federal protections that shield Black Americans from discrimination and lower systemic barriers to prosperity.
→ He's banning Black history, Black authors, and Black culture from school and workplace curriculums to erase our heritage.
John, we will NOT stand by and watch this cowardly man destroy everything our Civil Rights forebearers fought for.
We will pick up the mantle and continue fighting to build Black political power, elect Black Democrats who will stand up to Trump, and protect the future of our democracy.
But we can’t do this alone, John. We need DC Democrats to help us hit our $250,000 fundraising goal to make our dreams a reality. Will you chip in to fuel our movement right now? → [link removed]

Together, for our future.

The Collective PAC
The Collective PAC is strategically focused on creating a truly equitable democracy where our nation’s local, state, and federal governments have diverse and talented elected leadership, and Black people are fully represented in positions of power to create the policies necessary to progress our communities forward. Since our inception in 2016, we have helped 110 candidates win general elections at the local, state, and federal levels. We strive to support the next wave of progressive and unapologetic Black candidates who will usher in a sea of change in our political system while helping America fulfill its promise of democracy by creating a government that will truly be for the people and of the people.
Paid for by the Collective PAC; not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
